When it comes to the food, Scalini truly shines. The menu is a celebration of classic Italian flavors, with dishes that range from rich pastas to hearty meats, all prepared with the finest ingredients. One of their most popular offerings is the veal Milanese, a crispy, golden-brown breaded veal chop that is both tender and flavorful. For those who prefer seafood, the restaurant offers an array of dishes, including a perfectly grilled seabass that highlights the freshness of the catch.

For pasta lovers, Scalini’s signature dishes like the lobster ravioli are a must-try. Another crowd favorite is their spaghetti carbonara, which is made with the perfect balance of pancetta, egg, and Parmesan, creating a rich, savory flavor that never fails to satisfy.

The dessert menu at Scalini is equally impressive, with classics like tiramisu and panna cotta standing out. The tiramisu, with its layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone cream, is the perfect way to end a meal. Visited with my Italian friend after a show at the royal Albert hall. Excellent service, lovely warm staff and authentic food. As my friend put it "finally! Tomatoes that taste like tomatoes!" Veal Milanese was thin and crispy and the tagliata was very tender with a beautiful contrasting dressing of olive oil, mustard and lemon. They charge both service charge and a cover charge - usually they only do the cover charge in Italy. A bit overpriced but I suppose you have to take into account the area. They serve lots of extra bits like bread, olives, bruschetta, and amaretti - probably where the cover charge comes from. 8/10 would come back!

This is a place with a rich history. The starters were very good especially the mushrooms and burrata salad and aubergine and tomato starter. My sea bass was excellent. Overall this is an excellent place. The atmosphere with the glass ceiling as the rear on a day like this was very good to experience. Surprisingly they missed one order in our group and we had to wait for it. So the 4 stars for service. Tiramisu was very good. Would recommend. Sorry cannot state prices was we were guests to our friend in London.

Scalini was absolutely fantastic. The Gennaro Spaghetti was rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfectionβ€”truly a standout dish. The Veal Milanese was equally impressive: crispy on the outside, tender inside, and full of taste. The service was flawless, attentive without being intrusive, and the ambience was elegant and inviting. A top-tier Italian dining experience from start to finish.

After dining at Scalini in London last Friday, I can confidently say that the experience exceeded all our expectations. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the Italian food was absolutely delicious. It was one of the best Italian meals I’ve had worldwide. We will definitely be back, visit at your other locations on our travels. Thank you Team Scalini

We celebrated a birthday at Scalini last night, and it was fantastic! With a group of four adults and one child, we enjoyed incredibly delicious food in an atmosphere that truly felt like Italy. Despite not having pizza, the diverse and flavorful dishes more than satisfied us. Highly recommend for a special occasion or a delightful Italian dining experience! ---

I love Scalini in Dubai, and I recently tried their London branch. Although the menu seems slightly different, I enjoyed this one just as much. The service was excellent, particularly thanks to a staff member named Lewio, who was very friendly and efficient. I'll definitely visit this place again, especially since their menu offers a nice change and is just as good.

Main dishes are tasty (4.5 if googles allows half point per category), including sea bass (natural and light flavour which I like), sea food pasta (lobster pasta would be v good choice). Passionate and welcoming staff! Quite warm inside but it’s on me :p.
